This month, BAPE will be hosting BAPESTA!! Pro-Wrestling tournament in Tokyo, with some of Japans top pro wrestlers. NIGO (A Bathing Ape Producer) has collaborated with manga artist YUDETAMAGO to create a new wrestling costume and character “APEGON”.

To celebrate the event BAPE have also produced two special edition T-Shirts featuring famous Japanese cartoon wrestling superhero KINNIKUMAN, matched against BABY MILO. These special edition T-Shirts will be available at the event and at BAPE STORE London.

Marty McFly’s A Nike Release???

According to the World Intellectual Property Organization’s website and Dime, Tinker Hatfield and his boys at the Nike Innovative Kitchen have filed patent papers for a shoe with an automatic lacing system, such as seen on the Nike Air Mag from Back to the Future II.

If this technology is to be used in the form of a Marty McFly inspired sneaker it would be the definition of game changer; the perfect intersection between performance and nostalgia. The movie was set in 2015; is a Nike Air Mag “Marty McFly” release on the horizon? Stayed tuned to Nice Kicks for more info!

SUPRA TK SOCIETY AUGUST 2010

Supra has unveiled two more pairs of the Terry Kennedy signature Supra TK Society. These two pairs, which are set to release later this month, feature a tri-tone theme and come in a leather Teal pair and a leather/suede Blue pair. A traditional, vulcanized sole, with black piping, finishes this sneaker off.

All Black Everything / Jay-z and Nike Collab

A couple days ago preview photos of the Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 “All Black Everything” Collection surfaced online to many people’s surprise. This collaboration, which only features two pairs of five new designs, is currently being auctioned off on eBay. Much like the Nike Air Force 1 WBF Collection, each pair involved in this collection is inspired by five countries including the USA, France, China, Puerto Rico and Brazil. However, this time, each sneaker is obviously done up in all-black. Additionally, each sneaker features its own distinctive texture makeup and a multi-colored, translucent outsole that features the respective country’s flag colors. You can now place on bid on each one of these Air Force 1s now on eBay. Expect to pay a hefty price if you’re lucky enough to win!
